Carpoolers Logging On To Find Rides

POSTED: 5:21 pm EDT July 14, 2008

A local newspaper is trying to help ease the pain at the pump.

The Indiana Gazette built a ride-share page on its Web site which encourages readers to post carpool requests.

Dozens of people are logging on, hoping to hitch a ride to work and split the cost of gas.

People who want to ride-share can e-mail each other to set up a plan.
